Caves are Alive
Caves, both natural and built, provide potent spaces that have been inhabited for time immemorial.
Cave Forms is a transdisciplinary dance inquiry instigated by Margit Galanter that emerged from caving practices intending to nourish life. These two currents, the aesthetic (Cave Forms) and cultivation (Caving), have inextricably developed together, and have expanded into multiple community-based, personal, collective, and cultural art inquiries, – events and practices that discover the vividness and togetherness that unfolds from the fecundity of caves.
